Today i have helped harry complete the focus group questions for the 2D animation and we set out to find our focus group and when we found the individuals that we found suitable we asked them and they were busy so we are going back tomorrow, so we should have all our results by the end of the day tomorrow.

Today i have written out the questionnaire that will be used when we bring in our focus group to asses what their reaction is to the animation we will do this to find the general opinion on the advert. and i have done two mind maps one one the claymation and one on the 2d animation.

Now that we have completed the filming of the animation we started editing on monday 5th of march and we completed all of the editing that day with no problems. The main aspect that we changed on the animation was the speed of the character walking and saturation of the colours the contribution that i made towards the editing was where i downloaded some sound effects to go into the animation.

first day of filming

29th february 

today we have started filming our stop motion animation for our drugs advert, we have completed our first scene from using the brick house and road sets that i completed the previous week by using sharpie markers and paint where i designed the "psychedelic" or scary surroundings, i originally drew the set out with pencil then started re-working the outline, the set consisted of a moon with a realistic drawing of an eye in the centre of it, a haunted house and a tree stripped of its leaves with blended colours in the background to make it seem strange and twisted. we had a few problems with the road where it wasn't straight on the table and it kept buckling so it was raised from he table and made bumps in the road. The way we found a solution to this was to clip the road to the table so it would lay flat. my main role today was  to move the figure along the road a tiny amount each time which we repeated multiple times.

another problem we have had was where the clay figure was getting warm and getting soft so it became unmanageable so we couldn't move it easily so we put our figure in the fridge so it stiffened up. we also set up or second scene set ready to finish it tomorrow.

Today we wrote out our proposal and we each wrote 300-400 about what we are going to do with our video i was appointed to write the section about target audience and other aspects the preparation of creating the advert.

two days ago i learnt how to correctly use adobe flash player for me, the most significant aspect was being taught how to make the process quicker and reduces my work load. This is is from pressing f6 so it copies the image a number of times so it makes it quicker. Having practiced this i know like i could make a longer animation.

Monday 23rd

Today we learned how to use adobe flash player we used all the tools that are important and we made our animations, i was jumping with joy.
